A lot of people complain about Titansearch.com because they don't pay a huge dividend for using their search engine and they've change the rules frequently. I, personally, feel that if I'm going to be spending my time searching the web, then its rather nice to have someone pay me to do what I'm already doing.
I signed up for the service just a few days ago, so I haven't had time to be disillusioned by their constant policy changes or payment statutes. They're willing to pay me 3 cents a click for up to 18 clicks a day to do my searches! Here's where I became disenchanted with Titansearch.com. Yes, I can earn up to 3 cents a click for 18 clicks...and in the end I will have some chump change to show for it and nothing else! I'm a bit of a search-engine wiz, I know my way around the Internet and I'm capable of digging up just about any type of information. Now, the idea behind Titansearch.com is that it spiders out to the other major search engines and searches them for the data you provide. How Titansearch.com digs up this information from these sites, I have NO idea, because they are an endless string of broken and dead links. To complicate matters, the Titansearch.com frame stays with you as you branch out to these links making tracing or adjusting a link nearly impossible. I start highlighting and opening links in new windows, which means I don't get credit for the click, but it's the only way you can even attempt to accomplish a successful search on this engine.
The idea behind being paid to search the web is "your time is money". If that's the truth, then Titansearch.com doesn't put much value on your time because chances are after 10 clicks you'll have to go to another search engine just to try the search anew. I say, save yourself the hassle and head over to www.dogpile.com or www.metasearch.com. You won't make any money...but you won't lose any hair either.
