| drew-hatelife's Full Review: Roxio Jam |
hello! welcome to my review of JAM the software, not JAM the michael jackson song! even if you thought this was a good review of that song, read on because you will learn about some great software. hooray!!!
okay so about JAM, it is superior. it is a software meant for making audio CDs. with JAM i was able to record LPs from my turntable, clean them up, and assemble them into an audio CD, then burn the CD. it is excellent for taking material from vinyl or tape or any medium and burning it as a CD.
setting up crossfades and track edits is easy as pie. if you don't understand something, the on-disc manual is very easy to understand! if you burn audio CDs at all, this is a very necessary utility. take a live recording and remove the crowd sounds and fade the tracks! take a recording of you talking on tape, clean it up with the software, cut it up into 20 tracks, and burn it to CD!! there is no limit to what you can do!
things jam will not do:
* fix your marriage
* raise your children
* wax your car
* beat your dog
* clean out your sinks
but everything else, you had better believe it does it with style. an excellent value for the money, and a must-have piece of software if you have a CD-R.
