I have been a member of this organization for a few months now and I am satisfied with this service. This site actually helps the much in need, college student. They provide discounts, advice and scholarships for H.S seniors. The chat is very nice, reasonably clean in language and content for college students and loads pretty quickly. However the instant messaging is choppy and not the easiest system to operate in the world. I give lots of credit to this instant messager, the competition it has to put up with is rediculous (ICQ, AOL). Because the instant message program is not loaded directly onto your computer, it takes quite a while to open a new window and keep it updated, compared to the other IM giants. Another nice thing about the chat, you dont really have to worry about the age group your talking to, no 13 year olds talking about how dreamy the backstreet boys are, or how billy and jane were caught under the bleachers at lunch. The chat and IM arent the only neato convieninces provided by college club. They have a great mailing system with several worth while clubs to join. If you join a club, expect spam, it will come. Overall I say give this site a gander.
