Dell's service is the worst. First, my Inspiron's mouse buttons break after only 2 months of routine use. Then Dell on-line support tells me I have on site repair. When I call to set up an appointment, they send the wrong part to the service tech. Twice. When he finally gets the right part, it is the christmas holiday. Because he doesn't hear from me (I was on vacation), he sends the part back. When I contact him, he says to call Dell to set up a new appointment. When I call them they decide that I do not have onsite warranty service. I have to ship it back. But before shipping it, I have to remove the hard drive and the memory. Not opening the box is why I got a warranty. This is my 4th Dell computer. It will also be my last.
