I've recently bought a Compaq Presario 1800T for $2400. It comes with P!!! 450mhz, 64MB pc100 ram, 4x DVD Drive, 56k v.90 modem, 10/100 BaseT Network Card, 6.4GB HD, and much more. This dude is packed for both business and home entertainment. While my friends and I were driving to Las Vegas, we watched tons of DVDs on it. At work, I had hook it up to the network simply by pushing in a ethernet cable wire. No other hardwares/accessories was required to be bought! Oooo, here comes the good part. To show presentations, I can easily hook this up to a TV and show exactly what's on the Laptop screen onto the TV. The speakers are also wonderful. The price might be a bit too high, but it's worth it.
