| bnothing's Full Review: Microsoft Sidewinder Wheel |
I purchased the Sidewinder after my old Interact V3 busted. This one appears to be much more durable. I haven't found much that I don't like about this wheel.
The realistic feel is amazing. I makes me feel like I am sitting in the driver's seat. I feel, when playing Carmageddon, that I'll should be calling my insurance agent after a crash. The drag and force on the wheel are amazing.
I am slightly abusive on my gaming devices, and having kids playing games, it has to be able to take a little beating. This wheel does just fine where my old wheel folded under pressure.
The steering is precise and accurate. I can jump in the Nascar 3 cockpit and blast up to 175 and just a slight adjustment on the wheel and around the turns I go perfectly.
As far as the games go, I've found that just about all the driving games have 100% support for this device. It's easy to install, just like the Sidewinder game pad.
