No I am not! I never imagined that i could find a CD-RW for less than $200. I remember when a long time ago these CD-RW's were crawling up to the thousands. Speed does not matter all the time. The price really matters. Actually, I got this as a gift from a good friend of mine. He was pretty nice.
At first when I opened the box, I thought that it was a piece of junk. I thought it was way too slow and it would take me forever to copy one full 650 mb cd. Well, I decided to try out the CD-RW in front of my friend who brought it to see if it worked or not. This is a plug and play device, so my computer detected it right when I hooked it up. He also bought me one 30 pack of CD-RW cds.
So we stuck one cd in my normal drive and one blank one in the CD-RW. It took quite a while to rewrite, but I didn't care. Like I said before, speed does not matter as much as the price. About 30 minutes to one hour later, I had an exact copy of the other cd. I can't remember the exact time since I did this about two weeks ago.
I put in the new cd in my regular cd rom drive and everything was the same. There is nothing to be amazed about because that's what copiers are supposed to do.
