I have been with AT&T Worldnet Service for 3 years now and I am thoroughly pleased with the service they provide. I never have to worry about getting a connection. No matter what time of day or night I decide to get online, I am able to connect. Once on, I can surf for hours and hours without worrying about being kicked off. Recently, I made a move and decided to try AOL, what a mistake! I had so much trouble getting a connection and once I did get the connection, I would be on for a few minutes and then I would get the dreaded "goodbye". Not with AT&T, rarely do they kick you off.
AT&T Worldnet Service gives its customers six different email accounts. So each family member has their own account. I really like this feature, my children do not accidently read email meant only for me. Nor do they delete my email by mistake. AT&T provides a Message Center where you can read and write emails. They recently updated the Message Center, I really like the new look.
Their customer service personnel are very considerate and helpful. This summer my family and I were moving and I called AT&T Worldnet Service to cancel my account, knowing my computer would be in storage for a few months. The customer service representative, was so nice. He asked how long I thought it would be in storage and I told him at least 3 months, so he offered me a deal too good to pass up. They would change my account billing to 10 hours a month for $9.95 and waive any charges for 2 months.
I was able to keep my account, which meant all my friends and family were still able to send me email. I was able to access my email from the world wide web using family, friends and the library computer. I was not looking forward to two or three months without email!! The best part, I didn't have to pay a cent for this service. Once we got a house and got settled in, we had some trouble with our phone lines and couldn't access AT&T Worldnet, that is when I made the mistake of trying AOL. Once we changed to a digital phone line, we were again able to access AT&T. That was a great day for me!!!
AT&T Worldnet Service is also associated with Freeride and that means free internet service. Freeride.com is a place where you earn points for surfing the web. You can redeem these points for gift certificates for places like Toys R Us to Red Lobster. You also have the option of redeeming them for free internet service. AT&T is the biggest ISP associated with the site. They even give you bonus points just for joining Freeride. I usually have enough points to get free service every other month!
If anyone asks, I always tell them how happy I am with AT&T and encourage them to give it a try.
