The Diamond Viper V770 32MB TNT2 Ultra is aimed at gamers. Diamond has a reputation of solid driver support and they have seemed slow in letting the Diamond Viper V770 32MB TNT2 Ultra out on the market. I think that this might be because of difficulties finalizing the drivers.
The Diamond Viper V770 32MB TNT2 Ultra supports up to AGP 4x. the 32MB memory gives plenty of power to direct3D games. But the Diamond Viper V770 32MB TNT2 Ultra is not as good in terms of performance compared to the Voodoo 3.
This card is able to push a few more frames than other ones. It has a standard 150MHz speed to 200 with a simple slider in the incontrols software. The increased frame rate can cause damage to your card. When it is running in extra frames the card will receive damage due to the heat caused by the overclocking.
There is no doubt that diamond producedgood products. Installation of this card was quick and simple. There is high level support for super high resolutions. It can go up to 2048X1536. It has a great resolution but gamers don’t really care about on a gaming level. The Diamond Viper V770 32MB TNT2 Ultra is a good card to get but be aware that there are better cards out there for the same price.
