The "Agfa SnapScan 1212u" is a well-balanced scanner; it provides you fine results at an affordable price. I think it's one of the best scanners for medium desktop computers.
It is also compatible with MAC computers, which makes it better. You can also find it in various colors.
The manual is ok, and the program ("ScanWise") that is provided with the scanner to scan documents is extremely easy to use, you just have to follow some simple steps this is why also, I would not recommend this scanner to professionals or high demanding people, because the options of the scanning software are limited.
