Pros: Good Sound Quality, Nice sounding wavetable instruments, cheap
Cons: No more new drivers being made, Sometimes you have to un-install then re-install drivers after re-installing Windows

I have had this card for about 2 years now, and when I got it, it was top of the line. Today, it still works, even after I have had to re-install Windows countless times because of system difficulties. After two years of ownership, it still produces top quality sound and is in complete working condition. The wavetable instruments are very nice sounding, and it has pretty good DOS support. Also, sound quality is excellent, and it has A3D 1.0, which is still pretty good.
As with most other Diamond products, Diamond's deal with S3 has made driver support an issue. The card will no longer have drivers produced by Diamond, because Aureal, the company that makes the A3D chip on the sound card, did not like the way Diamond was going and cut them off from future code, so as of this moment, unless Aureal changes their mind, they won't be able to make new drivers. Also, with Aureal's entire team of Executive management resigned, and their bad financial situation, it looks like new drivers won't most likely be made.
Of course, this shouldn't keep you from buying this card, because their drivers are rock-solid as it is, and I only experienced a few problems installing them when I re-load Windows, although deleting them and re-installing them fixes the problem.
This sound card is still sold today and is a good sound card at a low price. It is good for people who don't want to spend lots of money on a fancy sound card, or people who don't need lots of fancy features and just want something that does the basics.
Overall, Diamond has yet again made a good sound card, and with it's price take, you should certainly look it over if your in the market for a new sound card.
