Pros: The Who Is lookup is Keen.
Cons: They charge to much, customer service has been very bad, don't offer enough extras like the cheaper registrars do.

I am so glad there is more than one place to purchase domain names now. I do remember purchashing my first domain name with Network Solution. It was good training since the possibility is there as a webdesigner to register a domain name for a client and knowing how is a good thing.
When I bought my first domain name I had to pay for a 2 year minimum and the cost was $70.00. That was enough to make me hesitate a bit but I went through with it.
Since then it has been pretty uneventful unless I needed a question asked. After my initial purchase getting any sort of help from customer service was not existant.
My time is almost up to renew and I have to say I will not be renewing with them but will have my domain transferred to my new and my only site for registering domain names. They only charge $15.00 per year and you don't need to pay for 2 years minimum.
In my opinion the Salad Days of Network Solutions are no more. I still use them for their Who Is look up though on occasion.
I just cannot believe that instead of trying to compete with the competition price-wise they instead thought to improve the existing services offered. I mean really, the other registrars are quickly catching up to speed and are offering more than Network Solutions in some instances.
In short I would not recommend doing business with Network Solutions for domain names at any rate. They charge too much and offer too little in comparison with other registrars out there.
