Wow!

Pros:Fast, great software, very customizable, 2 USB ports, great speakers, inexpensive monitor upgrade, reliable, good company background
Cons:Crashes once in a great while

I have a Dell T700r with a 30 GB hard drive and 128 MB of RAM, and the machine runs like LIGHTENING! I upgraded from a Dell Pentium 133 with 81 MB of RAM (I expanded it), and the difference is much more than I had expected.
The processor moves things along so quickly that you don't even have time to think about it. On my old Dell 133, I could open America Online, eat a snack, and still get back just as the AOL program was starting up. Not anymore. You can imagine how much it helps my diet :-)
The packaged software, Windows 98 SE, helps the computer optimize all of its settings to further help the speed of the machine. I also don't have to reboot anymore to plug in hardware like I did in Windows 95.
The options that I had installed were the Altec Lansing speakers, which use surround sound along with DVDs (I also got the DVD-ROM drive) and software to engross you in sound.
Another option I got was the CD-RW drive. It allows me to relatively quickly burn and rewrite CDs to use.
I upgraded to the 19" monitor, and it is incredible.
I got MS Office Small Business 2000, even though I am not a business owner (it came standard), I still feel it is a much more powerful option than the Works suite.
This machine is an incredible computer, and PC World has agreed with me, calling it the top Power PC once and top Midrange PC three times and going.
