I was sitting on some in store credit from trading in my outdated consoles. No games were out that I wanted so I figured I may as well upgrade again. I had a Voodoo 3 3000 and just wanted to squeeze some extra power out of my system. I didn't expect a big difference but I was wrong. Everything is much sharper and vibrant and my frame rates improved. I may have opted for an Nvidia competitor but the store didnt carry any of their cards. I would highly recommend this card to a gamer that is on a budget but wants smooth graphics and decent frame rates. Good deal for the money. I have an Amd K6-2 @ 500mhz and a 160megs of ram.
