Purchased this product in May of 2000, very few problems connecting to the PC and Mac Platform together. Consumables have increased drastically since purchase. My company does a lot of mid to high end prepress work, and overall the quality is very good. Would not recommend this machine for a high end shop. Main reason for purchasing was to supplement my customers with small run color work (under 1000 copies, spot & 4 color process) and for color proofing at a reasonable cost. Have been averaging about 10,000 copies per month, and consumables have gone from $464 per month to $649 per month. (1 set of 4 toners plus drum) Very expensive to run.
