Best Low Cost Speaker Available
Written: Mar 02 '00
Pros:Everything
Cons:Distortion at high volume
The Cambridge Soundworks PCworks speakers have got to be one of the best
$45.00 I have ever spent. Low cost for a 3 piece system that really
rocks. I'm listening to them right now as I write this. Wonderful, for a
computer speaker. It greatly enhances the computer experience, I have
never had a customer purchase these speakers and complain about them. Did
I mention that they can be found for under $50? Just a test, put a piece
of paper in front of the subwoofer, watch it jump an inch with a good
bass beat. You can actually feel the air moving through the sub. Yes
there is better but at $45.00? I would have to see it to believe it. The
only downfall to this speaker system is the limited volume. The sub will
distort at loose filling volume but most people will never notice as they
don't use them as a home stereo replacement. If you are planning on that
go to the big brother of these, the Sound Works 5 piece. I would have to
say that these speakers have been a real pleasure and everybody should
have a set.
