Cute and Cuddly

Written: Jan 14 '00
Pros:Cute Creatures, Easy to learn
Cons:some systems too slow to run the game

Ok, how much better can this get? I never had the first or second or any of the other Creatures games, but my husband got me this one for my birthday, and I can't get enough of it. Where else can you start an entire colony or cute cuddly creatures on an abandoned planet in outter space? It's got an amusing story line behind it, where a group of aliens had started this world and abandoned it, now you pick up where they left off. You breed and teach Norns (cute cuddly things), Grendles (keep them away from your Norns), and Ettins (also cuddly, but somewhat obnoxious). You even have a gene splicer so you can cross-breed ettins, norns and grendles. Teach them to speak english and survive in the wild. Breed them to make bigger colonies. Keep them fed (you have to check the Bioenergy on the ship and make sure there's food), and take care of them when they get sick (there's a medical pod just for this). There's even online newsgroups dedicated to this game. You can even learn to make you're own agents (they help in making new creatures and gadgets for the ship). The perfect game for 6-60 year olds.
