Ok, it's really not an Inspiron 3500- it's an Inspiron 3200 which I bought 30 months ago but they don't have a category for it here so this is as close as I could come.
Anyway, it has been a faithful little trooper all except for one thing- the beautiful screen (the best laptop screen on the market) does have some occasional problems. A year after I bought it it had a line suddenly running down it (Which Dell fixed under warranty) but a couple of months ago the main screen went from high resolution to fair resolution. I bought a monitor for it rather than pay to have the unit screen fixed.
Other than that the Inspiron can't be beat. The nearest thing is probably a Gateway or an IBM, but Dell has figured the laptop out by my (note) book. Love it and my next laptop will be a Dell Inspiron.
