My mother's business partner gave me a Lexmark 1000 Color Jetprinter for my birthday almost a year ago and I've never had problems with printing since. The printer gets the job done, but it is a little on the slow side. I've printed birthday cards, school papers, stories, and pictures on the printer and it's still kicking after all this time. I've never had to replace or repair any of the printer's parts other than the ink cartridge and the paper, of course. My brother has also been using it for printing Anime pictures and selling them to his friends and it's never had any problems with the various colors. I would suggest this type of printer for anyone who doesn't want to spend lots of money on a big and fancy printer.
