Pros: Awesome graphics and easy overclocking due to the fan/heatsink combo on the GPU
Cons: not the best, fastest or newest anymore....is anything?

With technology racing forward at an alarmingly fast pace, buying computer products in general has become a waiting game. You wait for the next greatest, albeit fleeting product to hit the shelves, whil telling yourself that you will wait a bit untill your dream component will go down in price. This indeed occurs, only to your dismay, there is something newer, better and faster out the next month or so later. Welcome to my world. This review is for the revision B 32 mb DDR card, which is identical to the version A except for a massive heatsink/fan combo on the gpu for you avid overclockers out there. The card comes with a tv out and an overclocking utility which allows you to manipulate the graphic clock and the memory clock via software. As for resolution, the card will support a max resolution of 2048 x 1536 @ 60 hz, which no one will ever achieve without a high end monior (over $1000). The only complaint is the drivers which do not currently allow you to choose your tv out device. This is strange since the port is there on th card, but there is no driver support for it. A new beta driver is out there, but it is not ready for regular use as it is unstable. The games that came with the card were adequate (Thief, Descen, Need 4 Speed) and the winDVD software was average for playing DVD's. Overall, this is an excellent card. In a month, the Nvidia chipsets will arrive, and drive the proce of this puppy down from its current $240 pricetag, but you know that you cannot keep up with technology unless you have lots of $$. So take it from me, this is an incredible card to have (over 98 pfs in quake 600x800 @32 bit) that although will be surpassed by future cards, should remain for quite some time
