Tried it and bought it!! When wanted to upgrade my 200mhz Packard Bell...I shopped for the most powerful machine with the fewest bells and whistles. I knew I would add these later. My search brought me to the eMonster 500. Although it comes with practically no software, anything you really need is free on the web. The eMonster delivered everything I wanted. SPEED, POWER, FLEXIBILITY, a mother board that will accept CPU upgrades, and a price I could afford. Just $499 after a $400 Internet Rebate made it my choice. I added 64mb of RAM and a Zip drive with ease.
No mess inside the well laid out case. The graphics and sound card are tops and the 16mb of graphics memory make pages load super fast and viewing a real delight. All this coupled with a DVD drive make it a winner.
When I inadvertently killed my sound, calling Tech Support was easy and their staff really knew the product. Less than 3 minutes to solve my problem.
I would highly recommend this system for the 2nd time buyer. The first time user or novice will not like the lack of software or the time needed to install all your programs.
I rate it 5 STARS!!!!
