its gotta be da shoesDec 01 '00 Write an essay on this topic.Ah, the Sony experience. With the name Sony, who can really complain? With the statistical percentage of malfunctioned products of less than 1% compared to what, what can really be said against Sony? Sure, I may scream and shout as an employee. But really, the company in general treats me quite well. And the products are pretty good. With our notebooks, the majority of support that I handle with our units are basically the same. pcg f400 series and the LCD, or our PDA being quite proprietary. But all, these are only fractional units with problems that arrive here considering the amount of products we dish out. And that is IF you have a problem. 9.6 out of 10 chances, you wont have problems. With the convergence of entertainment, and business and personal, these units are quite nice. All pointed to the consumers needs. Digital imaging software, connectivity, and tech support. Sony is really out for the people. The slim top and super slim line..the n505 & z505 series. Great for the people with small hands. Many problems is that all accessories are extra. You are paying for the slim line. Such as the CD-ROM, and such is extra. But with the extremely light unit, it is just something cute to have. I am just afraid to break this little thing...it's like me having a little poodle, and look manly. It just does not look right. The XG models... what style. What performance. This is your desktop on the go. These are my favorite. F series are your basic notebooks. These all in one notebooks are extremely powerful, and quite easy to use. I find the XG models a bit more versatile, but the xg models, you need to buy a replicator for the lack of ports. The f series are all in one, you typical notebook, with the backing of Sony. C1 models. Now, these are darn fun to use. The picture book. What a fine product. The Picturebook has a built in camera and a wide screen LCD. Smaller than all the notebooks, not as light as the super slim. All these devices are, once again, all convergence ready. That means ready for video editing, dvd playing, plugging into other devices all together. Quite exciting. With hundred of thousands of notebooks being sold, it's only natural that there are going to be some problems with a small crowd. And that's where I come in. Out of every 18000 (apx) one may have a problem. Multiply by 1000, or even 10,000, the problems are there. But does not equal the amount of happy little campers that purchase the notebooks. But every now and then, we find patterns. And I may have to write a comment or two on a product to burst the hype, and to educate. But overall, I have full confidence with the products, and support that Sony gives. |
