I had always had really fast modems ever since the internet came about. Whenever there was an upgrade I was there to buy it. I never did jump at the opportunity with the cable modem because it was so much more. I went away to Hofstra University and was given a cable connection for free and I would never want to go back to a modem again. It is so much faster and there are never any busy signals. I hate to wait and with the cable connection you don't have to. I use AOL and when I sign on with a cable connection it is so quick to say welcome, you've got mail. Its all in one saying. I can't say anything more than great thoughts about the cable connection. It is awesome!!! It is really fast reliable and makes surfing the web much much more enjoyable. The extra 30 - 50 dollars a month that it costs is completely worth it. I was spending about 25-30 a month for the phone bill and an extra 20 dollars is completely worth it.
