A must have for the strategy enthusiast

Written: Dec 20 '99
Pros:Great game play for the stratagist
Cons:Game takes some learning to play

I have been playing Imperialism II for about three months and I just love the game. I find that time just races by when I'm playing. I am always trying to see if my next strategy of choices will be successful. Will I conquer the world or will my country be over run by the enemy? Recently I played the game on the "nigh on impossible" setting, chose the real world map and selected Portugal. After many failing attempts I won the game. It was an excellent feeling to pull that off. If you like strategy games, you have to try this one. There is a small learning curve, as you get familiar with the game play. Make sure you have a computer suitable for the game. Minimum requirements are Windows 95 or 98,133 MHz Pentium or faster (200mhz or above recommended), 16mb ram (32mb recommended), 100 MB hard disk space, 4X CD-ROM, 800 x 600 display, 16 bit color, Direct X 6.0 or higher, QuickTime 3.02 or higher, 28.8kbps modem or faster for internet play. Visit their web page at <www.imperialism2.com> You will not be disappointed.
