I purchased this computer almost nine months ago, and I still don't feel outdated. At 500mhz, this computer more than aptly plays all games. Since I customized it to have 256mb of SDRAM, I can seamlessly run six or seven applications at the same time. One should also note that Dell's service and support is unparalleled! I have a old Pentium 166mhz from Gateway, and have had numerous technical problems with it. I contacted their customer support and the service was horrible. Many of the problems remain unfixed on that machine. On the Dell, however, I have had minor problems, but all have been successfully fixed by Customer Service. If you are looking for a fast, stylish, effective computer with great support, buy from Dell. If you are not, well... then I recommend that you go with one of those "other guys".
