Oh, yes my friends. In these few words that lay in front of you, the story of the tragic death of my Palm IIIe...
It was a busy day. Me rushing around my small town (as usual). Doing this, doing that, and about everything in between. I had just finished my chores when I pulled out my Palm IIIe to look at my schedule I had typed out the day before. I had everything checked off except stopping off by my friend's cafe to get some food from her. As usual, she was over run with many people and guess who volunteered to help? I quickly forgot all about the rest of my chores and quickly ran out to take orders. After about half of an hour the chaos quickly turned calm. Only few were left and she said she could handle it now. She thanked me, gave me the food for free as a favor, as I picked up my bag, my Palm IIIe apparently was not secured very well. It fell out, and wouldn't you know it. Here comes my friend coming after me telling me I forgot something. And I bet you saw this coming...without looking at the floor she quickly ran to me and ~CRUNCH!~. She steps on my Palm IIIe. As I turned to the floor and looked at the cracked screen, my first thoughts were "AHHHHHHH!!! NO!!!!" and my second thoughts were "AHHHHHHH!!! NO!!!!".
Oh how my heart mourns. There goes my organizer, my 15 in 1 game machine, and my 150 bucks....down the drain. I hope to get a new one soon. Maybe even a better one. But until then, I advise everyone to not make the mistake I did and put your Palm Pilot in the bottom of your bag!
