I haven't had my Lexmark Z31 for very long, but I'm already loving it. The installation and setup is easy enough for anyone to be able to handle. I had it installed and printing in less than 20 minutes. The application software that came with it is one of a kind. This printer actually talks to you. It's control window lets you view and toggle many advanced controls such as printing status, ink levels, and job progress. Other options allow me to insert and change ink cartridges, clean the print nozzles, and align the cartridges. The Lexmark Z31 even allows modification for DOS printing.
The Lexmark Z31 not only comes with advanced features, but also has an remarkable print quality. This printer can print transparencies, envelopes, index cards, or postcards, print on customized paper sizes, print greeting cards, iron-on-transfers, banners, and photos. Colored pictures and graphics look like they were a real picture. There is no smearing or color breaks either. Overall I would say that this printer would be ideal for either home or office use. No one could go wrong if they purchased this printer
