I honestly don't know why I chose this product, but I'm glad I did. I wanted to buy a cd burner for a long time. My friend has had one for a long time and he really puts it use. I decided to get one after I realized how nice it would be, and how much money I could save in the long run.
I bought it a month ago at Circuit City and use it all the time. I use it for the only reason that they make them. To download songs, off the internet, and put them on cds. (Yes, I know this is illegal, but I can't help myself)
When I had purchased it, I was excited and couldn't wait to use it. But I forgot that I didn't have a clue as to how to install it. No problem. The only tool I needed was a screwdriver. it was as simple as screwing it in, and connecting 2 cables to it. One for power and one for sound. Then I just inserted the cd and disk that it came with, and installed the software to my computer. The whole process took maybe an hour.
I even showed my mom and dad how to use it. They both picked it up fairly easy. I was amazed at how easy it was to actually create a cd. I had to select the folder that I saved the songs in, then drag which songs I wanted to the cd set up window. in about 40 minutes, I had 74 minutes of my favorite music, all on 1 cd. My computer only has a 56k modem and standard connection. Granted there are faster cd recorders on the market, but if you can't wait 45 minutes, then you are just impatient, and will not make it very far in life.
If I can do it, it can't be very hard. If my PARENTS can do it, it has to be the easiest thing in the world. (It took my mom a week to learn how to get email) I recommend this to anyone who enjoys music, and does not like paying 15 dollars for a new cd. This cd burner is fast enough, and of good quality. More importantly, it is easy to use.
