If you're here, you've got one. If you're there, you've got one. What's that?...an email address. For all the trouble they bring you...why not get one that offers to pay ya?
Themail.com is quite an interesting site. Around December, I was still in my kick for finding the newest online scheme to get free money. Interesting as it was, I found a couple of email companies that were willing to pay you for either sending emails, receiving emails, or having someone you referred read emails. I thought that these were all great ideas, but there was something behind each one...VERY LITTLE PAYOUT! why? well, that's easy...the average email account holder receives about 20 emails per day. So...why would a company want to pay more than $.01 per email you read. Themail came up with their own solution for you to not only hold an email account, but also to make money at the same time. They made their payout rates extremely low, but at the same time, gave you the opportunity to have a HUGE downline, which could make those $.0025 per email read by your first referral level and $.0005 per email read by your next 15 levels quite tempting. There is potential in this for anyone daring to try such a thing.
As I had stated previously, anyone here on epinions has to have an email address. As a matter of fact, almost anywhere you go on the internet, you need an email address, so what is my point? Getting people to sign up for something they need should be easy enough as it is. What's the problem then? Getting people to use TheMail as their primary email account. What?...yup, because most people automatically receive an email account by their ISP and use it as their main account. What's the kicker? Most people don't stay with the same ISP due to changing rates and anger toward an ISP...like I'll never get on AOL ever again...that's an epinion already written...so why do people use these accounts? It's much easier for them to do so than to seek out an email provider and keep it...or so it seems. If you were to show someone that keeping an account with a non-ISP email service is easy, I'm sure you could hook anyone onto TheMail.com
TheMail.com does not only allow one to earn money for his/her referrals, but also for clicking on theMail.com's sponsors. For each sponsor clicked on, the account holder earns $.01. This is only available once per sponsor per day...so one may be able to make $.10 in one day just for clicking on all the sponsors' banners.
I hope I didn't confuse anyone in all that mumbo... Here are the positives to TheMail.com:
-One is given 5MB of space to save emails compared to the 2MB most other email suppliers give.
-An Address Book may be kept by the user, and the address book does not count as memory in one's email account.
-One is able to Forward and Reply to mail.
-(One of my favorite features)When replying to an email, the original letter sent to one is automatically put into their letter, so one is able to answer every question posed by the original sender...(did I lose anyone?)
-After trying to delete a message, the message is sent to a 'trashcan' where one is able to retrieve the message just in case one did not mean to delete the given message.
-One is paid up to 16 levels for people one may refer to the company.
-One is paid when a referral reads his/her email.
-One may check their stats at anytime to see how much money one is making, how many people he/she have referred, and how much money one has made in the past.
-One is able to make a little more money by clicking on an advertiser's banner.
Here are the negatives to having an email account with theMail.com:
-One must give up personal information to receive an account.
-The Payout rates for referrals are quite puny.
-If one does not empty his/her 'trashcan,' he/she will still have what space was taken up by mail deleted accredited toward space taken up...for instance, if I were to delete 1MB of mail, but not empty the 'trashcan,' I would still have 1MB worth of space taken up out of the 5MB allotted. When I empty the 'trashcan,' that's when the 1MB of space is made available for new mail.
-Technical Support is quite slow in solving problems, so the site may be down for days.
-The site does not seem professional, even though its background is.
I hope I have affected your point of view on this company, or enlightened you, nonetheless. Just remember...you could be getting paid for someone else receiving email...
