Somebody put some kind of cybercop thing on this computer, I'm not really sure who did it, because there are several people who use this computer. This was last year. Anyway, I went to National Lampoon.com,my favorite page, and instead of the guy holding the gun up to the dogs head like I was used to seeing, there was this badge, like a sherrifs badge or something, and it said something like, "Stop! You cannot see this page without the password!" And after I tried, like, a hundred passwords, nothing worked. And I was really pi@@ed off. So I went to some of the other sites I go to, like HotBot the search engine, and that fu#@Ing badge came back up again. I mean, everywhere I went, whether it was offensive or not I kept getting stopped by the CyberCop. So I'm like, to hell with this. And I restarted the computer and formatted the hard drive. And everyone was, like, what the hell happened???? And I said, I don't know, the last time I tried to use it I kept getting busted by the cyber cop. And after that nobody put any kind of restrictive devices on there.
But the thing that really bothered my about the whole thing, it was, like, censorship. I mean, who's to decide what is offensive and what isn't for me? And these programs have too many bugs in them. If you can't see a website like HotBot, what else are you missing? Theres nothing wrong with a lot of the websites that this kind of software keeps you from seeing.
