Select a good laptop CPU

some reader asked me to write about which laptop is good and which laptop is not good. I can not say which one is best because every manufacture has its own character. I only gave you all I know which manufacture has main character.
Today I will advise the CPU manufacture. It is the most important component for the laptop.
1.AMD
There are three types AMD CPU in the market.
(1).AMD K6: This is the most basic of the K6 processor. It is the cheapest of all the original Pentium. Now they are less used for new product. But many old laptop still used it.
(2).AMD K6 2: This is the newer version of the K6. It adds 3D technology. If you like playing game you can select this kind CPU. It accelerates 3D performance with graphics and gaming applications. The speed is also higher than AMD K6. But the price is also higher.
(3).AMD K6 III: This the newest CUP in the AMD family until now. It has all the benefits of the K6 2. And it integrates the secondary cache into processor core. It means that it runs even faster.
2.Intel
Intel is the biggest manufacture in the CPU market. There are five common CPU in the market you find now.
(1).Intel Pentium: This is the oldest Intel Pentium. But it is a good processor that has become rather obsolete with release of more powerful processors from Intel. Many old laptop still use this kind CPU.
(2).Intel Pentium w/MMX: The Intel improved the original Pentium. And add the MMX technology to improve 3D effects and doubled the cache. It's speed is faster than the original.
(3).Intel Celeon: It is cheap speedy and efficient. The budget conscious version of the Pentium II.
(4).Intel Pentium II: It has a large cache and is very speedy. It high-quality processor is great with multimedia applications.
(5).Intel Pentium III: This is the most popular CPU at present market. It has souped up speeds up speeds above any other Pentiums. The biggest improvement is the multimedia additions, which gives it the power to process certain multimedia instructions that no other intel processor can understand.
3.Cyrix MediaGX
Except above two famous manufacture the cyrix CPU is also a good selection. It's processor uses MMX technology to improve graphics. Due to its incorporation of the audio and graphics chip into the main processor , computers using its processor tend to be lower prices. But it is slower processor.
These are quick introduction to the various classes of processors. The detail you can check their firm. But I like the Intel III most. It is very faster. But the price is very fast. So consider your need select your CPU.
