when i first saw the game in a store i had my doubts. i mean, worms trying to blow each other up? but then i saw that it was only $15 and decided i could always take it back. so i bought the game( which is fairly obvious since i am writing this review...). now onto the game...
i love it! there is a large variety of weapons from bazooka's to grenades to sheep to ming vases! you can parachute, bungee jump, teleport, and even use a ninja rope! enemy getting too close? put up a few girders and it'll stop him!
there are crate drops which include secret weapons and health bonuses! there are many jokes in the game such as mad cows and salvation army people. you can even do mail strikes! there are a variety of sound affects to choose from. everything from mad scots to rednecks!
there is also a pretty good terrain editor. you can specify the initial choices such as a cavernous or open map and let it do the rest. or you can edit it all the way. all in all a great game that i'd reccomend to people of all ages since it's educational since you have to figure out trajectories in order to hit the enemy with grenades/bazookas. a couple of the phrases are obscene but nothing too terrible. it's especially good due to the low price.
