I have owned this Dell Inspiron for less than a year and I can't believe how many problems I have had with it. I'm not sure if it is software or what. First of all, the laptop freezes up on me quite often. Which really makes me mad. I paid so much money for a Dell and it doesn't even compare to what my friends have, since they don't have this problem. I have called customer service and they just tell me that it is because of some software problems, they told me to call the manufacturer of the software. It usually occurs when I use Internet Explorer and Outlook Express, that came with the computer. But it still freezes on other programs, just not as often. I really felt that I could have gotten a Sony or a Gateway and have been satisfied with it. I feel that this computer was a waste of money. I wish I never bought it. I've always liked Dell computers, I think I am still willing to purchase their products, just as long as it is a Desktop. This laptop also gets very hot. Slowing down the performance, and causing more problems. I keep a fan on it just to keep it running decent. My confidence in Dell is somewhat smeared now, I just don't know what to think of Dell now.
