Pros: huge storage 15gb hard drive and 128mb ram things load quickly, i felt i more than got my moneys worth.
Cons: the moniter could have been larger but in this day and age you usually don't get a moniter with your computer purchaes, 17" in would make things a bit easier to read

This computer was purchased to replace an older model, this was my first time dealing with HP,I had looked at a different models both were the same price at Wal-Mart only place to purchase this model), i found that Wal-Mart has certain models built by HP that only Wal-Mart sells exclusively. The 6653c has a 15gb hard drive and 128mg ram and a cd-rw drive and polk audio speakers and an 10/100 card installed. there was a 15 in M50 moniter loaded with the bundle and a k56 model and fax capable modem, the cd-rw is fantastic i have copied many cd's and am still learning things about this, but the help files are fantastic and tech support is there if needed.
i had looked at other computers before I found this Hp 6653c and once I compared against other models and manufactures i felt confident in my purchase of my computer.
The set up was easy, i hit a snag with the keyboard/mouse had to call tech support they sent me a new keyboard and mouse, the keyboard has a one button internet access also there is a volume control on the keyboard and you can access shopping, entertainment, finance, people and e-mail and a documents button to the top left with a find button and a print and fax button there at the upper left of the keyboard. All these features on the keyboard .
It took HP support 4 days to expidite me the new keyboard and mouse, the support people were very very knowledgable and they talked and explained things in english not high tech language.
i realize things do happen, i just recently put another HP 6653c in layaway at wal-mart for a family member, this is how much i like my computer, its a great value for the money.
i have a lexmark z-11 printer connected to it, i also have a mustek 1200 usb scanner connected and an iomega 100mb zip disc, also have a jam cam plugged in with a usb port for digital pictures,
also i would like to say i am disabled and visually impaired, and this computer is well worth the investment.
i have looked at many more computers before i purchased my first HP back on may 4th this year, like i said i have another 6653c in layaway for a family member.
