I purchased this machine basically because I needed more power. I was off to college and wasn't really satisfied with my 66 MHz Pentium. This machine is awesome! It does everything I need it to do and more. There are definitely more powerful machines out there, especially DELLs, but this is perfect for the "not so power user." DELL of course has one of the best computers on the market, but what really impresses me about DELL is their commitment to Customer Service...24 Hour Service Representatives (nice ones) basically answer any question you have. This is a good computer from a good computer company...
