Pros:Free and easy to use
Cons:Requires basic HTML knowledge, where Front Page Express or AOL Press does not, and for the same price
I have used Archnophilia for over a year. I usually use it to edit changes in HTML I wrote, or to change code put in by Front Page Express. When you are on a budget, this program can save you time that cannot be saved when using programs such as Notepad.
I especially like the automatic adding of basic comments in tables, it makes it easier to find each cell and add your own words.
I found Arachnophilia by accident. At the time, I was using AOL Press, which is a free WYSIWYG program. But AOL Press has several limitations and it's difficult to edit without using an outside program. I used Notepad to edit, but in order to see your changes, you have to open your browser and look there. With Arachophilia, you can set the program to show you your changes with a click of a button, within the program itself.
I have since stopped using AOL Press and have deleted it from my computer. I tend to set up images and the basic layout of my pages in Front Page Express, then edit the pages in Arachophilia, as Front Page often will not allow you to create the page as you want it.
I would highly recommend this software to anyone who is just starting out in creating web pages and does not have a small fortune to spend for software.
