I was all gung ho when I found Go To World. As I'm sure was everyone else who got suckered into signing up.
Though they offer no actual service (other then to give you money for your surfing time), unlike services such as Epinions (where, whether or not you get substantial funding from them, a service and use is being offered), the set-up was simple and the banner a minor hassle in exchange for the money implied.
Then, after I logged in my maximum hours every month, and my few referrals logged in about half that much. I still never received a red-cent. Yet, without fail, every month I got an e-mail saying checks were in the mail.
Sure, their browser was fine, or you could still use your own, just with a banner on top. However, for the hassle of the run down it takes on your surfing speed, money never came.
