Thinking of purchasing another phone line? Try Pagoo first. Pagoo offers a free one month trial period, so that you and your family can determine if Pagoo will work for your household.
Our family used Pagoo for one year. We liked it, and had absolutely no problems with it. Then why did we stop using it, you ask? Because a new totally free program was introduced - Callwave. It was a tough decision, since Pagoo was working for us, but we chose Callwave, because it was free. If we had it to do all over again? We would choose Pagoo, even though it does cost more. In my opinion, this is a case of <br>"You Get What You Pay For".
ADVANTAGES
Pagoo is not expensive, and it is much less expensive than another phone line. It is $3.95 per month, but I believe you can get a discount if you pre-pay in advance. We did. It is worth the money. Payment can be made with a credit card online, so that you don't even have to worry about receiving a bill. If you choose to participate in the Partner Program, and refer your friends, you can actually use Pagoo for free!
Pagoo has an informative website (http://www.pagoo.com/) that offers support if you have any problems. The program is easy to install
and easy to use. There is no need to purchase additional hardware or software, as Pagoo is downloadable from the website. There is no bar to take up space on your desktop, only an icon in the toolbar.
One of our favorite features was that Pagoo allowed you to see the number of the person who called, even if they didn't leave a message. Callwave does not do that. With Callwave, if the person does not leave a message, then you have no idea who called.
DISADVANTAGES
The only negative thing about Pagoo is that it uses an 800 number and personal code. Then you have to give this 800 number and your personal code to anyone who you would like to be able to leave you a message. If someone calls your regular phone number they will receive a busy signal.
Leaving a message on the Pagoo system can be rather confusing to people who have no experience as well.
CONCLUSION
Overall, I would recommend Pagoo to anyone who wants to be able to receive phone calls while online, but who does not want to purchase another phone line. Try Pagoo before you try the others. To my knowledge, Pagoo was the first of this type of program, and in my opinion, they are still the best.
