Speed all around is not the biggest seller on this product. Price was the major factor for me. I had been wanting a CD-RW for a long time. I was tired of buming CD's off friends. So while browsing Outpost.com I found a great deal on a CD-RW.
It comes with Adptec's Easy CD Creator. It is a nice program! The newer versions help some too! The drive supports RAW read for ripping Mp3's direct from CD so software like MusicMatch Jukebox and other MP3 making programs will work with this CD drive.
Now with Games I will admit it does not do good. StarCraft crashes each time I run it using this drive as my CDROM. So I would highly reccomend leaving in your normal CDROM drive for audio, and games.
Overall its a great deal! And if you order it from Outpost.com you get it for $99.95! Thats all! No shipping since Outpost gives free shipping! So if you need a backup system or just want to make some Audio CD mixes grab this one.
