The site that keeps giving....

This is a great rewards program that gives you points for visiting sites, shopping, trial offers, taking surveys, referring a friend, and reading email. It easily fits into my routine, and only takes about ten minutes daily, twenty minutes weekly, and a few minutes extra in the old inbox.
Visiting sites:
You get ten points for visiting each site. There is usually an offer of more points at the sites for registering or something along those lines. They are usually interesting sites. I have actually found myself checking out several that I found here (as opposed to click, wait twenty seconds, close the browser...I know you've been there too!!).
Trial Offers:
Here you can get one hundred plus points for each offer. Obviously, the more points, the more you have to do. I do all the free ones that don't ask for credit card information ;o), and have still managed to benefit from this section. An example: Last week they had HDvest online in this section. It was one hundred and fifty to register, and an additional five hundred for e-filing. I registered. I saw that e-filing my federal was FREE, so I did. It was pretty hassle free, and I made six hundred and fifty points.
What's left:
I have only taken the one survey, you know the one you do right after you sign up. I haven't seen any new ones yet. As for the shopping, I haven't went through this site for that yet. **Not a fact, just word of mouth** I have heard from several people that shopped through them, and didn't receive the points for it. So just make sure to keep the confirmation email if you try that route. Now for the referral points. You receive one hundred points for each person you refer. You can do this in one of two ways. You can refer directly, or post a link to MyPoints on your web page. I am in the bonus mail program from this site, where they email you offers too, but I am unclear as to whether or not this is open to new members.
Ready to spend your points?
Here is a small list of the gift certificates you can get here:
Olive Garden, Redlobster, Toys-r-Us,
Sony Music, Blockbuster, Chili's,
General Cinema, Spiegel, Barnes & Noble,
Tower, JC Penny, Musicland
There are plenty more to choose from! I just bet there is something here that would keep you motivated to do the program ;)
In closing:
I would recommend this program to friends. It's a very user friendly site, loads pretty fast, however, it has been down off and on (but aren't they all??). It has a nice selection of gift certificates to redeem your points for. I use this program for gift giving, as a gift certificate is the perfect gift for the hard to shop for.
