Earlier this year i decided to upgrade my soundsytem, but a lot of alternatives are expensive if you want good sound quality. This is not the case with Soundworks.
The quality of the sound when you plug it into a Soundblaster Live! card's digital output is static free and LOUD. The cubes that come with the system can pack quite a punch, but also with crystal quality.
The subwoofer emits many ranges of bass tones, and overall sounds very good with very little distortion. I got 2 noise complaints from my neighbors because it was rattling the windows in the appartments across from me.
The whole system comes with a reciever that is simple to use and install your speakers into. The controls knobs are for: Master Volume, Center, Subwoofer, and Surround. You can also adjust the eq for movie, music, four point, and stereo.
This whole system comes at a bargain price at unsurpassed quality for the price. What more could you want?
