Although FP 2000 doesn't mangle your code as badly as earlier versions (and you might want it for site management reasons, and use your editor of choice for coding), the stand-alone version (and earlier versions) does come with Image Composer included.

I'm a big fan of this powerful, flexible web image editor!
(see my epinion on Image Composer for more details).

So you could buy FP upgrade very reasonably, and just install Image Composer, and get a great tool and a great deal!
