I'm going to have to give Microsoft Word 2000 4 stars. It truly deserves it. It seems to be faster and better in all respects. Now, all the commands are easily executed from one bar, and the bar can be contracted as more commands are added. Many new features have been added to make it better, my favorite of which is the ability to print several pages on a single page. Basically, word compresses each page and scales it down so that it will fit along with other pages on the same sheet. This is great for reviewing written work without having to worry about tens of pages.

Also, with every new document that's opened, a new Microsoft Word instance is opened too. This makes it much easier to switch between documents, simply by hitting alt-tab. All the other features are very good too. Grammar check often gets things wrong, but occasionally, it finds some important mistakes. Autocorrect works great too.

It's one of the best word processors out there, and since it's so popular, you can try it out almost anywhere before buying it. I highly recommend it.
