Update Information
Under Windows 2000, you must first download ScanWise PC
for SnapScan 1236s W2K driver.
ISP_1236S_V1401.EXE 9020256 bytes
ftp://ftp.agfa.com/sw/pc/ISP_1236S_V1401.EXE
With this driver, Windows 2000 will recognize
Agfa SnapScan as a scanner device.

1: Paid $79.00 at UBid Auction. Condition: New
2: It comes with an ISA SCSI card.
First, I tried to use it with Pentium III 500, Adaptec AHA2930C
under NT4. It did not work. I installed attached ISA SCSI...but
it did not work, either.
I installed it to Windows 98/Windows 2000 dual boot Pentium II 400
with Adaptec AHA2920C. It did not work. Then, I Installed it using an ISA SCSI card.
Now it worked.
3 Quality is Very good. ( being a member of Printing Industry of America, Agfa means a lot).
4 For fairness, I must admit that my computer systems are very complicated. I don't have any off the shelf system. They are all custom-made (i.e I ordure parts and build them) So many things are inside.
Iomega Jazz, Iomega Zip, two Hard Disks, 1 Scsi CDRW and Atapi DVD with
decoder, etc., due to IRQ, DMA, it becomes very difficult to add hardware to the current system.
Amount Paid (US$): 79.00
Recommended:
Yes
