Pros: Fast, Fast, and Fast Cons: No Floppy drive
My school just got a lab full of these puppies. I am loving them, especially on the internet. The school shares a T1 with five other schools in teh district and so it seems slow, however, with the G4's it increases the speed on the internet by 100% and...

Pros: Fast, Sleek, Beautiful Cons: Can't think of any
I have been the owner of a PowerMac G4 400mhz for a some time now and I have to tell you I haven't seen a better computer at its price range. I do intensive graphics work and this machine (in my humble opinion =) is a lot more versatile than many SGI...

Pros: Ease of use & Friendliness Cons: mini keyboard & mouse
I just got a G4 for my birthday a few months ago. I have always been an Apple fan. My previous computer was a Powermac 8500. I love Macs for their ease of use & friendliness. I can't believe the power of the 400 mhz unit. I have used my brother's PC...

Pros: Easy as child's play Cons: Connection problems
I have yet to get one of my own, but I have full access to one in University. Undertaking a production major in radio advertising and working extensively with Pro Tools, I say the G4 is definitely the one to get. The speed of the G4 is absolutely...

Pros: Gorgeous and easy to use Cons: I wish the rest of the world were Mac-users...but we're still the minority. Expensive.
I got my G4 the first day they came out...and it was truly a nightmare to order it, as Apple kept revising it's product lines and prices.
That being said, I love this machine. Yes, it was expensive ($3,400 with all the goods), and, yes, it...

Pros: Ease of use and powerful Cons: not enough usb ports built in
The G4 operates quickly and is easy to use. Conflicts in software are relatively easy to resolve. If you don't want to worry about computer language, then this is your type of machine. Store file with ease and find files quickly. The G4 has few problems...

Pros: Fantastic engineering, mild learning curve for the OS, and ease of use. Cons: Not for Gamer kiddies...
Yes, I work for Intel in their processor support division... and yes, I do recommend Macintosh computers just as I recommend Intel(R) Pentium(R) processors.
I own a G4 tower and I have never regretted the purchase. The sheer ease of use as...

Pros: Speed, ease of use Cons: no 3.5" floppy
A truely great computer. Faster than any PC with Apple style. I've been a Mac user since the first one came on the market. I've been forced to use pc's at work and haven't met one that has the ease and sensibilty of the Mac. I purchased a 17" apple...

Pros: Unbelievably fast, superior to nearly every other computer in every field. Cons: It's a Mac. There's no software to make use of it with.
The Power Mac G4 is undoubtedly one of - if not the - best computers ever made for civilian use. Using it's Vector processor, the G4 can do a gigaflop at 450 MHz processor speed. For those of you who don't know what that means, that's very very very...

Pros: Fast, Fast, Fast. Cons: none
I've owned Macs for years, simply because I didn't want to learn a lot about
computers. I bought a Mac, for ease of operation.
The Mac OS, operating system is almost intuitive.
Now, Mac has come up with completely new processor...

Pros: Speed, reliability Cons: none so far
I recently received a new G4 at work and I am amazed. I have been using Macintosh since 95 and this is the best yet.
The speed alone is enough for me to praise about. It has to be twenty times faster than the 6500 that I was using.
