Pros: Ease of use, fast, upgradable, durable, high quality computing Cons: Costly
"Don't tell me about it. I don't care. PC stands for 'PIECE OF CR*P'" That was my mantra. I was a Macintosh person and I would die a Macintosh person. Well, I am still breathing and my iMac is in the basement. It was time to upgrade and reality...

Pros: Good speed, user friendly and very top of the line! Cons: It freezes occasionally
I am actually writing this very review on my new 8100 Dell series computer which I purchased just under 2 months ago. This machine comes with all of the most upgraded features. It includes an Intel Pentium 4 processor, almost 40 gigs of hard drive...

Pros: Fast, color matches other electronics, great value, excellent customer service. Cons: RAMBUS RAM is expensive.
This is actually my third Dell over the years. Whenever I've had to buy a new computer, I have done research and I always end up going with Dell for the excellent systems that they offer. In addition, Dell's technical support is much better than any of...

Pros: High performance, excellent components, attractive design Cons: support ratings are overstated
Get the Right Version of Windows
The Dell 8100 is an excellent PC and running Windows 2000 enhances it's value. Windows 2000 is Microsofts most stable version of Windows and has lots of nice customizable features.
I have heard only...

Pros: Fast, Lots of preloaded stuff, fast. Cons: Flimsy power button, first sound card was dead.
I've waited a couple of months before writing this one to make sure that I had time to get the kinks worked out, and to give all the parts a chance to burn-in (or burn up!). Except for a faulty sound card shipped with the machine, I'm very happy.

The Dimension 8100 system that I have was among the most up to date systems available in February 2001. It has a 1.5 gig.processor, 60 gig hard drive, R/W drive, zip drive, and the THX certification for sound developed by Lucas Films not to mention the...

Pros: Fast, stylin' colors, and reliable support Cons: Some bugs are in all computers.
I recently purchased an 8100 Series with the 1.7 Ghz processor and 17" trinitron monitor. Buying from dell is great they continuously update you on the status of your order. It arrived by UPS well before the original delivery date. The entire process...

Pros: Attractive, get alot for the money, great service. Cons: Mail order.
With much anticipation I recently recieved my dell dimension 8100, and I couldn't be more pleased. This thing flies from one application to another. I purchased the standard 128 rdram at 600,and I have never known it to get bogged down. I purchased...

Pros: Speed, modern look Cons: Long holding time for support
I've had my Dell Dimension 8100 for almost 2 months now. The price for the system was pretty steep, however this was my second computer. In my mind I was thinking, should I spend less money on a slower, not as advanced system, OR, pay a little bit more...

Pros: Great performance, New technology, Slew of features, sleek design Cons: Expensive ram upgrade, questionable Pentium 4 technology?
I mainly use this machine for games, graphic design, and making movies. This is an extremely fast machine; however, that's expected from a $2600 setup. I'm upgrading from a AMD with a CPU of 200 mhz/win95/30 gig hd/12x burner; my new machine runs...

Original Review
A couple of months ago, I bought a new PC. I've had my 400Mhz PII for a while now and simply wanted a new PC. I immediatly turned to Dell who, in my opinion, make the best computers (but sadly not the cheapest). 5 days later...
