Pros: 64MB Video RAM, It's just awesome Cons: What?!?!
I bought a new computer recently and the first thing I had done before I even took it home was have a 3Dfx VooDoo 5 video card installed. All I can say is I am overwhelmed.
I had the 3Dfx VooDoo 3 for the longest time and I thought it was the...

Pros: Good speed,FSAA,compatibility with all
games,64Mb memory, minimum performance hit at higher resolutions Cons: Faster cards available, future support
questionable,FSAA too slow on higher resolutions,no T&L
I had a Creative Geforce2 MX on my computer and eventhough
it offerred blazing speed at a resolution of 640x480,it still lost a lot as I upped the resolution.Unfortunately,I
pay a lot of attention to eye candy, and as most of you probably know...

Pros: New card with a lot of new features. Cons: More processor dependant, impolite drivers.
First of all, I would like to say that there are a lot of fake reviews
of that card around the net, most of them saying that is a trash card. But the Voodoo 5 5500 is NOT a bad card.
Maybe there is a lack of details in the card, and the drivers...

Pros: Awesome Visual Quality Cons: Expensive
If you like to have intercourse with gorgeous models, then you will love this video card! It is fabulous!
I used to have a Creative Labs Annihilator 2 in my computer before I tried the Voodoo 5. Seriously, I must say that although the...

Pros: FSAA Better than GeForce2 GTS Cons: 4 Chips vs nVidia's 1 Chip and still loses in FPS Battle!
This product is just a so so product. I'm sure 3dfx is insanely mad @ nVidia. 4 Chips? vs. nVidia's 1 Chip? Yeap 3dfx has gone mad. Tests and benchmarks show that the VooDoo5's fps marks are a few, around 5-7 at most below any of the GeForce2 GTS...

Pros: Very fast, great resolution Cons: a bit expensive
I love this card. There is nothing wrong with it. I have been use to a two megabyte card in the past, but when i got my new system installed with this card... Whoa! I can now attain 120 frames per second without the slightest straining of my system....

Pros: Fast, beautiful graphics. Cons: Price.
My last video card purchase was an STB Velocity 4400, which has an nVidia Riva TNT chip. It was a great card for a long time, but with newer games and my new motherboard/processor combo (Athlon 800MHz on a FIC AZ-11), I felt as though more graphics...

Pros: good graphics, fast processor, good buy Cons: outdone by other cards
For the price... yes. For the graphics... not really. 3dfx really screwed up with this one. We thought buying a top of the line product from a huge name would be good for us. We play many multi-player games such as Half-Life and Quake III on our PC. This...

Pros: powerfull and very fast. Cons: The price of the newer cars are too much
The voodoo5 5500 agp card is a truly amazing card. This card has the ower to push so many videogames at incredible frame rates that you would think twice about the playstation 2. The graphical card in today's computers are so amazing that when you think...

Pros: ROCKS! Cons: Doesn't seem to work with GEM monitors
All in all I really like the 5, but it will not work with GEM monitors without some color banding. I have swapped several monitors and this is only and issue with GEM for some reason. Other than that the card ROCKS.
It works exceptionally...

Pros: Awesome frame rate from your games Cons: price and no T&L
This product is a highly anticipated graphics card from the top named 3dfx. The voodoo5 5500 is a card with monster high fill rate and 64 megs of ram. The specs are awesome but it does lack the hardware T&L that nvidia has boasted with its geforce....

Pros: nice FSAA and good graphics Cons: 3DFX is gone
I got this card when it just came out. Got it for a good deal on eBay. I have the AGP 64 MB of RAM version. I admit it is a little big and was kinda "squished" to install it, but it fit in my mini-tower to say the least. it wasn't hard to install and...

Pros: Full screen anti-aliasing, Price, Reliability Cons: 3Dfx sold to Nvidia
Yes, it's true, 3dfx has sold all rights, chips and patents to Nvidia. So What does this mean? Well, the product will remain out there but all support, updated drivers, and tech support is up to 3Dfx, a defunct company. Should that stop you from...
