Pros: Low Cost; Reliable; Performance; Memory Cons: Resolution Limitations; Competition
Summary: Introduction
The Hercules Prophet II MX card is one of the cheapest graphics cards made which has a good mix of specification and brand name, making it one of the most valuable. At just under £99 UK the miniature built card is not very ... read more

Pros: This card is very fast, very reliable and very inexpensive. Cons: The card isn't top notch and there are some compatablitity issues.
Summary: To start out I would like to point out that I bought a 64Mb version of this video card and not the 32Mb version recommended at Epinions.com and that I want anybody and everybody who can afford it to do the same thing. I'll tell you why.

Pros: Excellent Price, definitely improves performance Cons: OK, so it isn't the BEST Video Card available, but the price is right.
Summary: OK, I don't have this exact board, but it was the closest one I could find. The card I actually bought was the 3D Prophet 4500...the price is the same as the 3D Prophet II MX advertised here, about $150, but from the reviews I read about that card it ... read more

Pros: One of the fastest MX's out there. Cons: Some instability.
Summary: 3D Prophet 2 MX works well. Its one of the fastest MX's out there, and because it has 5.5 ns RAM, it can overclock farther than other MX's which have 6.0 ns RAM. The drivers that come with the card are very outdated, so you should download the ... read more

Pros: Wonderful performance, even better price Cons: There are faster cards out there...but do you really need them?
Summary: If you are like me and don't have the $400 dollars to buy a top of the line graphics card, but you still love to play games and demand performance than look no further than the GeForce 2 MX. This card is perfectly balanced between price and performance. ... read more

Pros: Fast for the price Cons: Does not run flawless in some OS
Summary: This card is very fast for the price. But you'll have problems running D3D and OpenGL apps, especially if you own a VIA powered motherboard. 3Dfx cards, although not the fastest -but very fast- run in any OS and motherboard, run the first time and all ... read more

Pros: Great price and performance Cons: Not enough detail in the manuals
Summary: I have to give a thumbs up for a great card
It was the first time I've ever installed a new graphics card in my HP Pavillion. I thought it was time to upgrade.

Pros: Good performance, very cheap Cons: Doesn't perform higher resolutions well
Summary: I think you may have to wonder what separates this card from all the other GeForce2 MX’s out there. Especially in my case, because if it was software, I don’t have a clue. I bought this card OEM from www.mwave.com and basically got a box with a card, ... read more

Pros: Excellent performance for price range... even beats out some more expensive cards Cons: drivers are still a little shaky, no Twinview support, not much else in box like software, card is able to support DDR ram which would speed it up considerably!
Summary: I've been looking through several "budget" video cards to update my parent's computer at home. Running at a decent 450 MHz Pentium II chip and a TNT video card (the first one!), it could use a few updates. Now finding a good video card that ... read more
