Details: This is ABIT's premier all around full spec 440BX motherboard. 440BX is the new high-end chipset for the Pentium(r) II from Intel. It has all the features found on ABIT's 440LX motherboards, but with the added benefit of being able to support the new Pentium(r) II CPUs with the 100MHz external CPU clock. Better yet, this motherboard is backwards compatible to support all Pentium(r) II CPU's currently on the market. That means that you can use your current Pentium(r) II CPU with the BX6 and get a performance boost from all the latest features found on Intel's 440BX chipset. Plus benefit from ABIT's new Soft MenuTM II which allows for the first time ever, voltage changing for Pentium(r) II CPUs, plus faster boot times over the Soft Menu original, and the standard feature of hardware mperature monitoring.
