Pros: Low price, excellent keyboard, high performance, many options
Cons: Plastic look, pretty large
Summary: Dell let's you configure your Inspiron 3800 laptop setup just the way you want. Personally I went for a 650MHz PIII processor, 128MB RAM, 12GB harddrive and an internal CD-RW drive. The price for this rather cutting edge setup was very reasonable, ... read more

Pros: Good Customer Service, Reliability, Durability, Ergonomics.
Cons: Keyboard defects, limited flexibility in payment plans.
Summary: I bought an Inspiron 3800 series notebook for work 2 years ago. Some of the concerns I have had may have been solved in more recent models but my hope is this will give customers a good idea of what to expect.

Pros: Good value, not loaded with bad software
Cons: Flimsy plastics, so-so quality control

Pros: Big screen, custom built, excellent service, solid pricing

Pros: Large, bright display, fast, good battery.
Cons: Sound is so-so, pricey, not much elese!
